Sometimes the best love stories take their time. We spent four years as Facebook friends liking each other’s posts, debating sports opinions, and bonding over our shared love for frenchies and football before life finally brought us together in 2024.

Our first date… didn’t exactly go as planned. But Sarah believed there was something worth exploring and encouraged a second date.

That second date changed everything. It felt comfortable. Easy. Natural like something that had been waiting to happen.

By the end of date two, Chris asked Sarah to take a leap of faith and fly to Vegas just a few days later. It was a risk for both of us — but one we’re forever grateful we took.

We spent five unforgettable days together, and somewhere between the laughter, late-night conversations, and realizing how effortlessly we connected, we both knew this was something special. At one point, the friends we were with even encouraged a spontaneous Vegas wedding and Chris jokingly sent his parents a “congratulations” photo as if we had just gotten married. (Don’t worry… we waited.)

Then came November 29, 2025.

Sarah thought their trip to Nashville was all about the Jaguars game. She even asked Chris if he really wanted to go up to the rooftop that night, assuming it was just something she wanted to do.

What she didn’t know was that Chris had been planning this moment for months. Right before he got down on one knee, Chris gave Sarah a Last Christmas as a Miss sweatshirt in the cozy igloo on the rooftop a thoughtful, intimate touch that made the moment even more special.

Beneath the glowing lights of Hotel Bobby and the Nashville skyline, Chris asked Sarah to marry him. And of course, she said yes.

Now, we cannot wait to celebrate our marriage in Cancun in November 2026, surrounded by the people who have supported, encouraged, and loved us through every season.

What started as a friendship years ago has become the greatest adventure of our lives and we’re just getting started.
